Deal, on the Kent coast, has a proud and particular place in British military history. For generations it served as a training ground for Royal Marines, a place where discipline, grit, and attention to craft were instilled from the ground up. Dark Deal takes its name from that legacy.

This is a sessionable bitter brewed to 4%, steady, dependable, and full of character. Dark amber in the glass with a fine off-white head, it opens with a gentle caramel malt sweetness before a clean, earthy bitterness comes through on the finish. Balanced and honest. The kind of pint you come back to.

Tasting notes

  • Appearance: Deep amber, clear with a persistent cream head
  • Aroma: Toffee malt, a hint of dried fruit, light floral hop
  • Taste: Smooth caramel opening, building to a clean, earthy bitterness
